The route is ideal for someone wanting to see parts of the island that are not seen by everybody. There are no technical sections
Beginner difficulty
The route starts in Veli Lošinj and follows the western coastline. The road takes you through Sveti Martin Harbor to Kadin. While riding through the town of Mali Lošinj, make sure to enjoy the scenery—but stay alert to pedestrians. After passing the main square and continuing for a few kilometers on paved roads, you’ll arrive at Velopin. From there, the route follows a narrow path right along the sea.
The path is narrow, so keep your eyes on the trail and (ideally) stop if you want to take photos. As you ride farther, the scenery just keeps getting better.
This route will take you along some of the prettiest bays and beaches on the entire island. Plenty of refreshments are available along the way.
Remember to watch for traffic on the main road, and you’ll be back at the starting point in no time.
The island is rocky, so keep your focus on the paths—but don’t forget to stop and take in the views!
